Import failed or no nodes appeared: what to check
An import action can succeed at opening an app while the configuration is still missing. Work out which stage failed before trying another purchase.
When this applies
The app opens without nodes, reports a parse error, or imports a list containing only direct routes or groups.
Checks, in order
Identify the input you have
A remote subscription URL is an instruction to download content. It is not the content itself. This checker never opens that URL; obtain a local export using your trusted service’s instructions.
Check the response type privately
An HTML login page or error message is not a client configuration. Confirm your current subscription through the account or email management page. Do not paste a secret subscription URL into public chat.
Run the local format check
Choose your device and client. Paste only configuration text and inspect the error category and line number. Fix punctuation, missing server/port or authentication fields locally.
Distinguish providers and empty groups
Provider-only YAML needs external data that this tool will not fetch. Direct, block or selector entries do not supply a remote proxy. Ask the provider for an export compatible with your client.
How to interpret the result
A format pass means basic fields were present. It does not show that remote providers loaded, credentials are accepted, an endpoint is reachable or the app completed its import.
When to stop and ask for help
After one corrected retry, stop if the same error remains. Give support the client name, OS and a redacted error. Never attach full configuration, tokens, passwords or subscription URLs.
